He is survived by: his wife Betty Monson; his children, Rufus Monson Jr. (Michelle), Ruthiea Monson, Milton Monson, Timothy Singletary (Kizzy), Angela Monson (Wayne Hamilton), Nicole Monson and Tocarra Johnson; his grandchildren, June, Rufus III, Rashaad, Anthony, Hailey, Michael, Donte, Justice, Chris, Breasia, Marlee and Mekhi; and his sisters, Knight of Connecticut and Ivory Miller. He is also survived by many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
