It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sam A. Butera (Rochester, New York), who passed away on December 18, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Butera and Felicia Butera. He is survived by: his wife Jane E. Butera; his daughter Melissa Butera; his stepdaughters, Debbie Maier (Jim) and Mary Jane Maier (Dan); and his sister Mary Jo Cordaro (Carmen). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Road, Fairport, NY 14450 (lollypop.org) in his memory.
