He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his children, Sam Jr. and Shannon Royster (Justin); his grandchildren, Nicholas, Emily and Caitlyn Royster; his sister Mary Ann Reed; his niece Kristina Reed; his great-nieces, Tamia, Tiana, Tassilda and Tajorie; Tristian. He is also survived by several cousins and dear friends.
