We are sad to announce that on June 25, 2023, at the age of 76, Sarah Mae Gipson (Rochester, New York) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her brothers, Elijah and Rufus Jr.; and her parents, Ethel M. Cherry and Rufus Green Sr. Sarah Mae. She is survived by: her former husband Cleve Gipson Jr. (Ernestina); her daughters, Janel N. Gipson (Bartlomiej) and Janeen Gipson-Rex (Michael); and her sisters, Zenobia Wallace and Helen Irvin (Sam Green).
