With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sharon L. Avery of Rochester, New York, born in Elmira, New York, who passed away on March 7, 2022 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Hazel "Ruth" Mary Stearns and David Birch Spicer; her son John David De Leury; and her sister Christine Mc Millan. She is survived by: her daughters, Terri De Leury and Sabrina Coleman; her grandchildren, Joshua Coleman (Shannon Perry), Brad Gay, Spencer Gay and Alyssa Cheasman (Ryan); and her brothers, Lonney Spicer (Evelyn) and Russell Spicer.
