He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Mele and Patricia Mele; and his parents-in-law, James and Kathryn Bianca. He is survived by: his wife Joella; his children, Stephen Mele (Sara), James Mele and Bianca Mele (Phil); his grandchildren, Gianna, Jordan and Grayson; his siblings, Linda Volta, Robert Volta, Tony Volta (Taikiko), Michael Volta (Angela), David Volta and James; and his sister-in-law Kristina Bianca.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Paul W. Harris Funeral Home (570 Kings Hwy S, Rochester, NY 14617). A memorial service was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations may be made to the VA.
