The family announces the passing of Steven F. Elensky of Rochester, New York on August 28, 2026. Steven, born on November 28, 1943, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Steven will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor Steven by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Steven is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Steven’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Elensky and Louise Elensky. He is survived by: his wife Linda Elensky (Cookie); his children, Yvonne Kier (John), Steve Jr. Elensky (Jean), Andrea Sciarrone (Rob) and Michele McEneany (Scott); and his sister Emma Hayes (John). He is also survived by his 13 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Jamieson Ritter Memorial Lodge (1122 Lake Rd, Webster, NY 14580).
