It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sue Hughes (Rochester, New York), who passed away on February 26, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John L. Fichtner and Marie Fichtner; and her brothers, John L. Fichtner, Jr. and Richard Fichtner. She is survived by: her husband William E. Hughes; her daughter Tracy Hughes Kroft (Joe Stephany); her grandchildren, Drew M. Kroft (Dina Alawneh) and Caroline M. Kroft (Kevin Li); her great grandchild Quinn Li; her brother William Fichtner; and her sibling's children, Mike and Laurie Fichtner. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.
