The family announces the passing of Susan J. Wrue (Rochester, New York) on September 30, 2026. Susan, born on March 26, 1940, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Jankowiak and Julia Jankowiak; and her sister Dorothy Janokwiak. She is survived by: her husband Richard J. Wrue; her sons, Steven Wrue (Michelle), David Wrue and Peter Wrue (late Rachael Wrue); and her grandchildren, Nicole Wrue, Melissa Wrue and Mackenzie Wrue.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the New Comer Westside Chapel (2636 Ridgeway Ave, Rochester, NY 14626). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church (2400 W Ridge Rd, Rochester, NY 14626).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to the Lollypop Farm.
