She is survived by: her daughter Kendall Schaeffer; and her siblings, Thomas Palmer and Judene Ackley (Palmer). She is also survived by several nephews and a great niece.
A burial will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Cemetery (100 Kings Rd, Schenectady, NY 12304).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Tara's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
