He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Short and Marie Short; and his siblings, Edward T. Short, Robert Short, Joan Sunday and Mary Wido.
He is survived by: his wife Celeste Short; his sons, Paul Short (Johnnie) and Gary Short; his grandchildren, Jacob and Olivia; and his siblings, Eileen Short, Ann Short, James Short and Michael Short. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
