He is survived by: his wife Mary Empey; his children, Jennifer Empey-Kohl (Forrest) and Alexander Empey; his sisters, Carol Smith, Nancy Salvaggio (Tony) and Heidi Empey (Kevin); and his siblings-in-law, Diane Monaghan (Peter), Beverly Lanigan (Bill), Dolores Zaffuto (Mark) and Bill Brewer. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews and friends.
