He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Frison (Sam) and Rosa Lee Frison (Ruffin). He is survived by: his wife Mae Ola Frison of Rochester; his brothers, Herbert Frison of Sanford and Archie Frison of Quincy, Florida; and his nieces and nephews, Stanley Byrd (David Harris) of Rochester, Deborah Rainey of Rochester, Crystal Burton of Rochester and Darrin Frison of Rochester. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and loving friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the New Comer Funeral Home (6 Empire Blvd, Rochester, NY 14609). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location. In 2020, as COVID was getting a grip on the world, Walter had brain surgery to remove a clot from his brain.
