We announce the death of Wendy Lista (Rochester, New York), born in Henrietta, New York, who passed away on September 7, 2026, at the age of 61. Wendy will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Wendy will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Wendy’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Matthews and Anita Matthews (Heisterkamp). She is survived by: her husband Bill; her children, Jacob and Natalie; her siblings, Lindy Winters, Warren Matthews, Melissa Matthews (Jim) and Marcie Matthews; and her aunt Sandy Strohl (Bob). She is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A memorial gathering will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Buckland Lodge at Buckland Park (1341 Westfall Rd, Rochester, NY 14618).
