He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Blanchard and Mary Blanchard; and his sister Yvonne Briggs. He is survived by: his wife Carol A. Blanchard; and his sons, Scott Benecke (Ginger) and William L. Blanchard. He is also survived by grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
