William Metrose Obituary
The passing of William Metrose (Rochester, New York), born in Hartford, Connecticut leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on July 20, 2025 at the age of 86. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, William shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid William farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Carol Metrose; his daughters, Tricia Johnson (Eric) and Tabitha Casamento (T. R.); his grandchildren, Evan Casamento (Kaitlyn), Lillian Casamento, Lauren Casamento, Kendall Johnson, Donavan Johnson and Callen Johnson; and his great grandchild Alexander Casamento.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, August 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the OakHill Country Club (145 Kilbourn Rd, Rochester, NY 14618).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Roberts Wesleyan College or to the Perinton Memorial Post 8495 - Veterans of Foreign Wars, two organizations close to Bill's heart.
