She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Brooks Sr. and Carrie Brooks (Bones). She is survived by: her daughter Farra Ashford; and her sister Carrie Brooks. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 13th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. John Missionary Baptist Church (37 Edward St, Rochester, NY 14605). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 13th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
