She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Brooks and Eva Mae Brooks; her daughter Rachel Brooks; her granddaughters, Amoni Conner and Layyah Brooks; and her siblings, Ronald, Willie Gene, Tarone, Walter and Cynthia Brooks.
She is survived by: her children, William Brooks, Tazzi Brooks, Alvin Brooks, Jaavaid Brooks and Marcus Brooks; and her sister Clara. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
