Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Zigmund will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ludwig Averbakh and Regina Averbakh; and his brother Norberg Averbakh. He is survived by: his wife Noyema [Rappaport] Averbakh; his children, Rosa Shrago (Igor) and Mark Averbakh; and his grandchildren, Yevgeny Shrago (Marina), Michael Shrago (Olivia), Alma Averbakh and Ilan Averbakh.
