With sadness, we share the passing of Richard G. Hathaway of Rock Stream, New York. Richard, born on March 17, 1946, passed away on July 11, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Jesse and Vera Elizabeth Hathaway (Crapo); his significant other Lorna Dorthy "Doe" Hathaway; his sisters, Marie Rathbun and Dorothy (Marshall Wood); his nieces, Penny and Georgia McComb; his brother-in-law Gary Prindle; and his nephew Frank Prindle.
He is survived by: his children, Michael A. Weber (Peggy) of Lansing, NY, Kurt J. Hathaway (Kimberly) of Newfield, NY, Kevin R. Hathaway (Angie) of Seale, AL and Cheri L. Zimmerman (Wilmer) of Manheim, PA; and his siblings, Patrick Hathaway (Jane) of Reading Center and Judith Prindle of Montandon, PA. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren.
