In the sacred silence of farewell, Acey is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Acey's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his mother Thelma Mae Wilburn; and his brother David Peters. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Harvey; his sons, Acey Wilburn II (Alaina) and James Wilburn (Sara); his grandchildren, Alex Wilburn, Stephen Wilburn (Aspen) and Katherine Wilburn; and his sister-in-law Ruby Peters. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Nunn and Harper Funeral Home Inc. - Rome (418 N George St, Rome, NY 13440). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM.
