He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Albert C. and Ruth Waller McGuire, Sr.; his wife Joan Loftus; his daughters, Kathleen Welch (Frederick) of Dawsonville, GA, Nancy McGuire (Steven Woytowich) of Rome, Karen Lubecki (Donald) of Rome and Maureen LaMonica (Salvatore) of Rome; his grandchildren, Gregory Welch (Keri), Sherry Wallace-Young (John), James Herrin (Cheryl), Jennifer Ayala (Jorge), Jacqueline Herrin-Dorso (John), Matthew Lubecki (Danielle), Mark Lubecki (Morgan Aley), Christina LaMonica-Phair (Carey), Meghan LaMonica and Samuel LaMonica; and his pet Tito. He was also cherished by fourteen great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made in Al's memory to the St. Paul's Church Memorial Fund.
