She was predeceased by: her parents, Mykola Zakala and Martha Zakala (Royko); her husband Hubert Dole; and her siblings, Catherine Pelano, Mary Remick, Michael, Peter, Russell, Steve, John and Richard Zakala.
She is survived by: her sister Helen Edwards; her nephew Jim; her niece Ann Marie Edwards; her great-niece Jessica; and her great-nephew Colin (Chris). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
