He was predeceased by: his parents, Aldo Panara and Julia DiRenzo Panara; his wife Joy; his siblings, Albert (Gloria Panara), Joseph (Eileen Panara), Ned Panara and Diane; and his siblings-in-law, Tom Maher and Jeannine Drewnowski.
He is survived by: his children, Alena Panara of Herkimer, NY, Joel Panara (Sue Ellen Cox) of Durham, NC, Beth Ann (Michael Nichols) of Westlake Village, CA and Andrea Panara of Rome, NY.; and his grandchildren, Jake Fiumara, Sawyer, Cicely Panara and Summer Nichols. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
