He was predeceased by: his parents, Owen Evans and Leona Evans (Lombino); his wife Elaine Petrucci; and his sisters, Rosemary Recchio and Jane DeAngelis.

He is survived by: his daughters, Laura (Kevin Hagan) of Syracuse, NY, Deanna Evans (Andrew Capobianco) and Jenna Evans (Mike Jones); his grandchildren, Sophie, Coleman, Cora, Thomas and Vinny; and his siblings, Patty Enos (Allen) and George Evans (Janet). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
