She was predeceased by: her parents, Reginald Gates and Phyllis Coon Gates; her former husband Robert D. Felker; and her husband Kenneth Babcock. She is survived by: her children, Reginald Felker, Robert Felker (Kathy), Kevin Felker, Cynthia Suits (Keith), Rodney Felker and Delores Lints (James); her grandchildren, Kayla Perkins (Donald), Destiny Felker, John Brazie, Kelly Huntley, Jessica Burnup, Brandon Felker and Glenda Felker; her great grandchildren, Paislei, Donald, Kaeis Perkins, Dylyn Huntley, Kendra Centro, Kendal Centro and Isabelle Felker-Wiediger; and her sister-in-law Patty Kieffer.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Hillside Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Barbara's memory to the Humane Society of Rome, Wanderers' Rest Humane Association, or the Alzheimer's Association Central New York Chapter.
