We are sad to announce that, on February 13, 2026, at the age of 94, Betty A Holmes (Rome, New York) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Cornelius and Zola Traut (Johnson); her siblings, William, Merwin and Jane (Jim); her son William (Tekla); and her son-in-law Iver Peterson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Christine Peterson of Townshend, Cynthia Brown (Michael) of Baldwinsville, NY and Donna Clark (George) of Morriston, FL; her stepchildren, Jackie Hodge (Bruce) of Old Forge and Ed Holmes (Joann) of Verona Beach; her close friends, Sarah Congden, Sherry Warren, Sherry Foster, Wendy Ulrich and David Alberico; and her granddaughter Lisa Clark.
