It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brenda Fosella of Rome, New York, who passed away on October 8, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Sherman and Leatrice Hayes Sherman; and her siblings, Barbara Sheets, James "Tiny", John, Kevin and Charles "Shorty" Sherman.
She is survived by: her boyfriend Tom; her sons, Dennis Beckwith Jr. and Garrett Armstrong (Heather); her grandson Garrett Armstrong II; her siblings, Joyce Sherman, George and Karl Sherman (Darlene); and her great-nephew Eli. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Evergreen Cemetery (138 Hilson Dr, Rome, NY 13440).
