He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin E. Sr. Martin and Ruth E Maurer Martin; his daughter Mary; and his siblings, Ruth E. Martin, Alcenia Sherwood, Ella Manley, Harriet Benn, Edward F. Martin, Edwin Martin, Jr. and Frederick Martin.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Pelow; his children, Kathleen (Peter Grant), Chester H. Jr., Susan Martin of Frankfort, John F. (Cheri Martin) and Brian (Melody Martin); his siblings-in-law, Lorraine, Gordon Bryan, Nancy, Roger Smith, Linda, George Crossley, Susan, Richard Rathbun and Francis Pelow; and his grandchildren, Christina, Carl, Erik, Adam, Kimberly, Jessica, Joshua, Keith, Jacob and Abigail. He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and godchildren.
