We announce the death of David L. Drake of Rome, New York, who passed away on July 4, 2026, at the age of 84. David will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Drake and Isabelle Drake (Williams); his daughter Elaine; and his siblings, Melody Casabaugh, Joan Walker, Raymond Jr., Frederick, Thomas and Neil Drake.

He is survived by: his wife Carole Turk; his children, Brenda Beasock and David Drake Jr.; his siblings, Linda Coonrod, Gloria Carmen, Gary Drake (Elizabeth), James Drake and Lloyd Drake (Barbara); and his grandchildren, Joshua, Amber, Casey Beasock, Daniel and Maria Drake.
