With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Deane F. Bergstrom of Rome, New York, who passed away on May 17, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Deane leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Deane may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer F. Bergstrom and Irma I. Arnold Bergstrom; and his sister-in-law Judith Bergstrom. He is survived by: his children, Tricia Badolato (William) of Rome, NY and Steven Bergstrom (Tamara) of Rome, NY; his brother David Bergstrom; his grandchildren, Nicole Oertel (Spencer), Lauren Badolato and Victoria Badolato; and his great grandchild McKenzie Oertel. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
