Diane M. Sims Obituary
We announce the death of Diane M. Sims (Rome, New York), who passed away on July 14, 2026, at the age of 71. Diane will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Calvin G. Vogt and Ruth A. Vogt (Voll). She is survived by: her daughter Alexa; her son-in-law Steven Townsend; her grandchildren, Ben and Layla; and her siblings, Sharon (Jim Gauthier), Nancy Vogt, Carol (Joe Massimi), Douglas Vogt, David (Barbara Vogt), Michael (Jacqueline Vogt), Peter Vogt, Paul (Dimitri Vogt-Toscas) and Lynne (Daniel Parkhurst). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and friends.
