He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Reed and Nellie Wedderspoon Reed; his former wife Marilyn R. Reed; his wife Ruth Dunn Benishin; his siblings, Henry Reed, Jean Cashmer and Ann Sholtes; his nephews, David and Edward; and his niece Sharon Richards.
He is survived by: his children, Sandra (Wayne Holliday), Rick Reed and Gerry Reed; his sister Margery Richards; his grandson Christopher (Virginia Holliday); and his stepchildren, Greg Benishin, Elena Lax, Nicky Benishuin and Tami Lindsay. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
