It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas D. Stacks of Rome, New York, born in Utica, New York, who passed away on September 10, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Kendrick Stacks; and his brother Robert. He is survived by: his mother Marilyn Stacks (Bittecker) of Coldbrook; his wife Nancy L. Adams; his children, Nathan, Vanessa Stacks, Jessica Stacks, Jesse Loomis of Ilion, Daniel and Brittney Stacks of Rome; his grandchildren, Autumn (Phil), Alyssa, Aubrey, Emily, Danielle and Krysta; his brother Richard; his sister-in-law Deborah Stacks; his sister Donna DeSantis of Coldbrook; his siblings-in-law, Michael DeSantis of Utica and Evelyn Stacks; his siblings' children, Michael DeSantis, Jenna DeSantis, Jennifer Stacks, Elizabeth Stacks and Denise Stacks; his great-nephew Robert Stacks; and his extended family Douglas.
