Elizabeth J. Long Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elizabeth J. Long of Rome, New York, who passed away on September 7, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Sarcone and Jennie Piluso Sarcone; her husband Edward Long; her siblings, Joseph Sarcone and Dolores Kiernan; her son-in-law Kenny Jackson; and her siblings-in-law, Donald Long, Richard and Lois Bauer.
She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Long of Rome, Mary Kay Jackson of Oriskany and Edward Long (Lori) of Rome; her grandchildren, Lisa Hicks (Andy), Lindsay Jackson, Lauryn Long, Emily Long and Teddy Long; her great grandchildren, Leah, Hallie, Bobby, Kenny and Tripp; and her siblings-in-law, Delores Sarcone and Gerald Long (Debbie). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
