Eloy Maya Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of Eloy Maya of Rome, New York. Eloy, born on January 27, 1939, passed away on October 9, 2026. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Eloy Maya to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolph "Ninchi" Maya and Theresa Maya. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Joanis; his daughters, Tricia (Rick Sticca) and Tammy (Lance Bennett); his grandsons, Anthony, Allison, Alexander, Alexis and Owen; and his siblings, Tito Maya (Karen), Jeanette Ventura (Louie), Eric Maya (Jeannie) and Dolores Washburn. He is also survived by nephews and nieces.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, Inc. (7751 Merrick Rd, Rome, NY 13440). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. John the Baptist Cemetery.
