It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frank H. Nelson of Rome, New York, who passed away on July 15, 2025, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may Frank find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may his legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bruce Nelson and Florence Hess Nelson; his former wife Aggie; his son-in-law Merritt Boucher; and his siblings, Florence Crawford, Bruce Jr. and Page Nelson.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Agnes (Killeen); and his children, Mary Anne Boucher of Rome and Frank Nelson Jr. (Paula) of Venice, FL. He is also survived by six grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
A funeral Mass was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Peter's Church (200 N James St, Rome, NY 13440).
