George A. Vickers Obituary
The passing of George A. Vickers in Rome, New York leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on July 23, 2025 at the age of 96. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Vickers and Lucile Vickers; his wife Mary Ann Pecsi; and his pet Rose. He is survived by: his children, David (Vicky) of Rome, Carl of South Carolina, Stephan (Jackie) of Idaho, Stephanie (Victor) of Arizona and Peggianne (Dimas) of Oregon; and his grandchildren, Zachary Vickers (Ashley), Colby Vickers (Michelle), Lisa Vickers (Gary), Jessica Moran (Bob), Ian Vickers (Sarah), Kierstin Vickers (Joe), Kelsi Krabbendam, Alex Krabbendam (Tiana) and Ethan Krabbendam. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Strong-Burns & Sprock Funeral Home (7751 Merrick Rd, Rome, NY 13440).
