We announce the death of Gerald L. Tennant of Rome, New York, who passed away on September 3, 2026, at the age of 72. Gerald will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Tennant and Nellie Tennant (Burdick); and his wife Bonnie DePan. He is survived by: his daughters, Michelle Risely, Jamie Dunn (Brian) and Amy Tennant (Kelly); his close friend Joanne Tracy; his sister Lucy Tennant; his sisters-in-law, Stella DePan and Betty Dougher; his grandchildren, Nikki, Rachel, Emily, Connor, Stoshy, Colton, Alexis, Angel and Bailey; his nieces and nephews, Robbie, Richard of Kenny, DJ and Michael; and his pets, Cutie Pie and Queenie. He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Rathbunnville Cemetery.
