Gloria Harney Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gloria Harney of Rome, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 15, 2026 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Parkhurst and Ada Parkhurst (Yutzler); her husband Robert C. Harney of Knoxboro, N. Y.; her son Christopher Michael Harney; and her siblings, Don Parkhurst, Roger Parkhurst, Ross Parkhurst and Jean Parkhurst.
She is survived by: her children, Shirley Suda (Robert), Jeanne Harney (Don Durgan), Diane Mason (Doug) and Charles Harney; her daughter-in-law Jacinda Harney; her pet Buddy; her brother Bruce Parkhurst (Patty) of Florida; and her siblings-in-law, Esther Kitchen, Geogia Harney, Liz Harney, Fay Harney (Eileen) and Georgia Harney. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.
