Grace C. Crossley Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Grace C. Crossley of Rome, New York, born in Port Jefferson, New York, who passed away on June 23, 2023 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father George Kappenberg; her sister Shirley Davis; her nephew Wayne Roberts; and her son-in-law Edward Niedzielski. She is survived by: her mother Grace Kappenberg (Blake); her husband Jack D. Crossley; her children, Dana Cook (Daniel) of Taberg, NY, Kent Crossley (Deana), Lori Schardt (Bruce) and Teri Niedzielski of Stittville, NY.; her grandchildren, Erin Vona (Christopher), Tracie Forbes (Richard), Sarah Hooper (Sean), Reed Crossley, Jaclyn Cline (Randy), Christopher Schardt (Sydney), Jason Niedzielski (Joann), Mark Niedzielski and Casmir Niedzielski (Melissa); her great grandchildren, Evelyn, Declan, Sofia, Autumn, Summer, Collins, Edward and Brahn; her brother-in-law Fay Crossley (Donna); and her nephew John Caldwell. She is also survived by her family as a loving wife, mother, grand and great grandmother.
