With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Helen M. Fitsik of Rome, New York, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. As Helen departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Helen. Though Helen may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Simons and Elizabeth Tephenhart Simons. She is survived by: her children, Michael Fitsik (Laurie) of Clifton Park, NY, Donna Tarnowski (David) of South Bend, IN and Richard Fitsik (Linda) of Rome; and her sister Liz Purvis of Norfolk, NY. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren.
