We announce the death of Jaqueline Arlene Cole of Rome, New York, born in Stuart, Nebraska, who passed away on September 14, 2026, at the age of 91. She was predeceased by: her husband Malcolm C. Cole; her parents, Alfred Martens and Lois Martens; and her siblings, Jocelyn Iris Martens, Jaralyn Martin, Jean Pease and Thomas Martens.
She is survived by: her children, Jocelyn Cole of Valley Falls, Malcolm Cole II (Beth) of Bernville, Pennsylvania and Juanita Mitchell (Andrew) of DeWitt; her grandchildren, Malcolm Cole III, Edward Cole, Allia Mitchell and Isaiah Mitchell; and her siblings, Bryan Martens of Fremont, Nebraska and Shelley Martens. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Floyd United Methodist Church (8398 New Floyd Rd, Rome, NY 13440). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
