With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joan M. Kipfer in Rome, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 4, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leloa Masner (Manchester) and Rosco Masner; her son Bruce; and her son-in-law Moses Asker. She is survived by: her daughters, Jacqueline Maggio (Anthony), Judith Asker and Karen Olney (Scott); her close friend Phyllis; her cousin Rita; and her niece Debbie.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Strong-Burns & Sprock Funeral Home (7751 Merrick Rd, Rome, NY 13440). A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Strong - Burns & Sprock Funeral Home (7751 Merrick Rd, Rome, NY 13440).
