It is with sadness that the passing of John Scott Gravelding of Rome, New York is shared. John Scott, born on February 27, 1961, passed away on September 18, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Richard Gravelding; and his sister Susan Gardner. He is survived by: his mother Alice Gravelding (Smagalski); his wife Laurie Greseck; his son Christopher; his daughter-in-law Christina Gravelding of Rome; his daughter Jamie Gravelding of New Hartford; his grandchildren, Natalia, Mila, Olivia, Madilyn and Liam; his sister Licia; his brother-in-law David Ronan; his parents-in-law, Stanley and Stephanie Greseck; and his brother-in-law David Greseck (Debbie). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service (35 College St, Clinton, NY 13323). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Church (13 Marvin St, Clinton, NY 13323).
