He was predeceased by: his father Frank Parry; his grandson Brandon Joseph Popovich; his siblings, Loretta Wrafter (Parry), Virginia Capponi (Parry), Louis Parry, Anthony Parry, Frank Parry and Thomas Parry; his siblings-in-law, Marie Parry, Lee Parry, Mary Parry, Angelo Capponi, Peter Iselo and John Wrafter; and his niece Mary Jo Gruhlkey.

He is survived by: his wife Dee; his daughters, Kathleen (Robert Bojanek) and Deborah Popovich; his grandchildren, Brent Popovich, Ryan Popovich (Megan), Kara Needelman (Greg), Lauren Popovich (Tyler Kahn), Erin Bojanek (Matthew Bandes) and Kyle Bojanek; his sister Amelia Iselo of Floyd; his sister-in-law Patricia Parry of Rome; and his close friends, Bill Reese and Bruce Groff. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Abraham House of Rome, Hospice and Palliative Care, or St. John's Endowment Fund.
