It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joseph M Izzo Sr. of Rome, New York, who passed away on May 26, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Carmine Izzo and Anna Ansonia Izzo; and his siblings, Carmen, Edward, Orlando, Mario, William Izzo, Rosella Przelomiec, Mary Jane Stewart, Dolores Twomey and Jean Moles.

He is survived by: his wife Carol Henderson; his children, Joseph Izzo Jr. of Rome, Mayor Jacqueline Izzo, Lynda (Joseph Convertino), Darlene and Virginia; his sister Gloria Izzo; his sister-in-law Julia Izzo; and his grandchildren, Katie, Alyssa, Kristina Convertino, Joseph III, Laura Izzo and Alexandra DiNardo.
