We are sad to announce that, on February 4, 2022, at the age of 101, Julia Pettinelli of Rome, New York, born in Irvington, New Jersey passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Julia Pettinelli to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her siblings, Tony, Joseph, Eddie, Charlie, George, Lorenzo Zappulla, Phyllis Marzarella, Lucy Caracino, Flo Brucato, Mary Abel, Anna Zappulla and Yolanda Jasinski.

She is survived by: her son Dennis; her daughter-in-law Cynthia Pettinelli of Redwood City, CA; her daughter Patricia; her son-in-law Roger Girouard; her grandchildren, Liane, Jonathan Nicolas, Jon Pettinelli, Leslie and Alejandro Cruz Jose; her sister-in-law Beatrice "Lucy" Pettinelli; and her close friend Martha. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Those wishing to attend are required to wear a mask.

Memorial contributions may be made in Julia's name to: Awaken Church, 5526 Rome Taberg Rd, Rome, NY 13440, to further Compassion Care in and for the local community.
