She was predeceased by: her parents, James Lyke and Gertrude Storms Lyke; her husband Michael Cummings; her siblings, James, Robert Lyke, Shirley Drake and Sandy Finch; and her cousin Patricia Murphy.

She is survived by: her children, Tasha A. Green (Garry Brown), Adam Lyke and Jamillia Jones (Shaday Sarracent); her siblings, Florence Aikens, Beverly Garofalo and Ronald (Sandra); her grandchildren, Sa'Reyeah, Ah'Cyana, Xy'Relia, Za'Lani, Emmanuel, Nameer, Shamyra, Shaylena, Bryce, Taeshia, Adrian, Serenity, Diva and Kya; her pets, Everly, Lily, Lucy, Maise and Chico; her nephew Dave Mendoza; her niece Lee Testa; her close friends, Ruth Morgan, Dave Cadrette, Anthony, Doreen DeJean, Pam Kuhn, Kelly Williams, Elizabeth Hadlock, Theresa Nebush and Joan Murphy; and her godson Chad Murphy (Devyn). She is also survived by several great grandchildren.

She loved going to church and praising the Lord, as well as donating her time to the community.
