With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Katharine Jones of Rome, New York, who passed away on April 18, 2022 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Mikitin and Dorothy Blanchard Mikitin; her son David Charles Crippen; her sister Coramae Mikitin; and her former husband Robert Crippen.
She is survived by: her daughter Jacqueline; her son-in-law James Vienneau; her son Robert; her brother Charles; her sister-in-law Julie Mikitin; her sisters, Charlea "Vicki" (Alan Grinnell), Camden and Joilynne (Ralph Conner); her grandchildren, Michael Beers, James "Jimmy" Vienneau, Kourtney Vienneau and Brittany Brewer (Anthony); her great grandchildren, Paisley, Shane and Beckett; Rose Mastracco. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; a special friend.
She was a community volunteer, always willing to donate her time to assist others.
